The Story

Seth Candan’s sound was forged on the road. Coming up in the same Red Dirt circles as Whiskey Myers and Turnpike Troubadours, he cut his teeth grinding out nearly 200 shows a year and sharing stages with artists like Jamey Johnson, Cody Johnson, and Eli Young Band. Signed early by Mike McClure to 598 Records, Candan has built his reputation as both a powerhouse performer and accomplished songwriter.

In 2026, Candan celebrated three #1 singles at radio—two as a co-writer with Sandee June’s “Southern King” and Lee Thomas’s “Pretty Woman of Mine,” followed by his own release, “Down By The River,” which reached #1 in August 2026.

Now firmly back in the music scene, Seth is currently recording and putting the finishing touches on a new record slated for release in early 2027. Leading into the project, his next single, “Letting Go,” is set to be released to radio, continuing a new chapter in a career built on years of songwriting, touring, and Texas music.
